José Luis is left at the altar by his fiancée. To avoid losing the money from the trip, his mother, Mari Carmen, decides to accompany him on what was originally meant to be his honeymoon. While José Luis becomes increasingly frustrated, his mother fully enjoys the vacation, experiencing things she had always dreamed of and revealing a side of herself that her family did not know.
